Welcome to JarvisMarcos.com, a thorough and extensive database of my travel reviews.

I fly over 100,000 miles per year in First and Business class cabins and review every new product that I try. Similarly, I review almost every luxury hotel and airport lounge that I set foot in

I book the majority of my travel using sales, promotions and a variety of other tricks - often leveraging the power of hotel points and airline miles. If I use a special technique of any kind to book a travel experience, I'll mention it in the review.

This means that hopefully you'll have all the tools you need to book your own amazing trips too!

REVIEW – SWISS : First Class – Montreal YUL to Zurich ZRH (B777)

After 24 hours enjoying the sights and food of the beautiful, wintry city of Montreal it was finally time to step into SWISS' all new B777 First Class cabin. I was so happy to be able to plan the trip in a way that let me try the older A330 product beforehandĀ as it meant I could finish on a real high note. As soon as I approached the jetbridge I was greeted by the smiling crew, "Welcome back, leaving so soon?" they said as I stepped into reception area and made my way left to seat 2K. Not only had I selected the exact same seat for my return, I'd managed to get the exact same crew too! The scientific, analytical part of my mind immediately filled with joy as a I realised that I had the perfect control for my comparison of the two different SWISS products šŸ˜

REVIEW – W Montreal : Fantastic Suite

I came away from my first W experience pleasantly surprised in some ways. The doormen were excellent as were the room service and bar staff. They were universally friendly and proactive, really going out of their way to provide excellent service...

REVIEW – SWISS : First Class – Zurich ZRH to Montreal YUL (A330)

As an overall experience, flying in SWISS First was absolutely fantastic. The lounge in Zurich may well be my favourite in the world and the service on board was close to perfect. The food was extremely well executed and presented. Indeed the table setting was basically indistinguishable from that of a restaurant, no miniature or plastic pieces of tableware in sight. Most importantly the bed was very comfortable and I managed a deep sleep in the middle of the day without any problems.

REVIEW – Singapore Airlines : First Class Lounge, SIN T3

The 'best' lounge at SIN is rammed full of SQ F passengers, whilst the F lounge, with its enormous acreage of floor space and plentiful buffet, sits almost empty. In future, I think my strategy will be to grab some Dom in TPR and then make my way to the F lounge. It just seems a little more alive and I far prefer being able to select my own food, at my own pace.

REVIEW – Cathay Pacific : Business Class Lounge, London Heathrow T3 (post-refurb)

Given a choice of using the BA F lounges in Terminals 5 or 3, or using this CX Business class facility, there is no contest. BA have been well and truly humiliatedĀ in their home base.
