Welcome to JarvisMarcos.com, a thorough and extensive database of my travel reviews.

I fly over 100,000 miles per year in First and Business class cabins and review every new product that I try. Similarly, I review almost every luxury hotel and airport lounge that I set foot in

I book the majority of my travel using sales, promotions and a variety of other tricks - often leveraging the power of hotel points and airline miles. If I use a special technique of any kind to book a travel experience, I'll mention it in the review.

This means that hopefully you'll have all the tools you need to book your own amazing trips too!

REVIEW – Qatar Al Safwa First Class Lounge – Doha

The lounge is so quiet, cavernous and awe inspiring that it doesn't feel like a space in which to kick back and have fun. If you're expecting the Virgin Clubhouse you'll be disappointed. It is however one of the most striking and interior spaces I've ever spent time in. The calm and tranquility is a world away from the airport terminal below

REVIEW – Qatar : First Class – Sydney SYD to Doha DOH (A380)

The food and drink weren't quite on the level of JAL or ANA and the seats don't have closing doors like Singapore Suites or Etihad Apartments but the overall product ticks a lot of boxes. On a long haul flight Qatar First Class is exceptional and actually my main criticism is that it is sometimes deployed on routes that don't have the demand for First

REVIEW – Qantas First Class Lounge – Sydney T1

Qantas' flagship lounge is a fantastic space that feels undeniably Australian and very special indeed. The sleek white marble, mid-century nods to the golden age of aviation and expansive runways views make visiting this facility feel like a real occasion. The dining experience is genuinely worth making time for, with dishes and wines that will excite and surprise you just as they would in a top restaurant in the city.

REVIEW – American Airlines Flagship Lounge, Chicago – ORD T3

Overall this is an absolutely fantastic lounge. AA have really come far in the last couple of years. Their 777s now all feature flat beds with direct aisle access and WiFi and slowly but surely their lounges are becoming equally cutting edge. Ample daylight, runway views, fantastic food, a variety of top shelf spirits, almost every soft drink ever and power points at nearly every seat. What's not to like?
